Battery Recycling

Batteries contain chemicals including lead and mercury which can leak following disposal, leading to soil and water pollution.

By recycling batteries, not only is this pollution avoided but many other valuable components can be salvaged, including cobalt and silver.

Pulse Environmental can collect and recycle all types of batteries, preventing landfill and saving valuable resources for future use.

We offer battery recycling containers in a range of sizes to suit your needs, from a desktop caddy, which has a 5kg capacity, through to a 600 litre pallet box.

These containers are suitable for the disposal of AA, AAA and D batteries, mobile phone and laptop batteries, as well as button batteries such as those found in watches.

Once a container is full we will collect it and provide all the necessary documentation to ensure your company complies with the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005 and the Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2009.
