Metal Recycling

Recycling metal uses 95% less energy than manufacturing it from raw materials. It is also a material which can be recycled time and time again without loss of properties.

Metal waste is usually bulky remnants of furniture or IT equipment which are no longer useful or drinks cans which are made up of a mixture of steel and aluminium cans.

Although there are specific recycling schemes which target just aluminium cans, the volumes collected are generally quite low and so we recommend that both aluminium and steel cans are deposited in the dry mixed recycling bins for separating at our materials recovery facility.

For any other bulky metal items Pulse Environmental can arrange to have these collected separately by either a skip service or by our staff collecting items directly from the building.
